Director Terry Powell.
Trained at the Brighton section of the Guildhall
and Avery Hill College in London,
he obtained Diplomas in Specialist Drama Teaching, Stage Direction and
Education.
Terry's
qualifications are A.C.P.; L.N.E.A. ( Drama ); Cert Ed. ( London University ) Member: A.B.T.T.
and the British Arts Association
Experience gained at the Theatre Royal Brighton was enhanced by that in association
with studios of the West End designer Tod Kingman, leading to production involvement on
pantomime, revue and musicals at the London Palladium, Talk of the Town
and other
major venues.
He now works as a production design consultant to other designers
and contractors
for West End production management and television companies. He has taught to
examination standard in both drama and theatre studies for both the private
and state
education sectors.
